Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

Happy New Year, everyone!

So many things have happened in the year 2012.
Sure things, unsure things, lovely things, not-so-lovely things…
but the 100% sure thing was that I have been blessed with the love and support
from friends and family throughout the year 2012.
That’s how I was able to keep on singing.
Thank you very much for being there for me.
I couldn’t have concluded my 2012 without your help and support.

To think of a new year,
yep, I am about to figure out my new year’s resolutions – not all of them, but partially to share with you guys…

Wearing the colors that I always believed it won’t go well on me = RED

Funny resolutions, yes? Yes. I admit.

I always liked the color of red as an accent color
for stationary or accessories, but not on something I wear – clothing and makeup.
Then, I have just realized when I was flipping some art books in a book store
that there are so many shades of Red in this world.

“There should be the Red that I can wear.”

If there’s such Red, the Red and I should have a fateful encounter, no?
Then, I should enjoy it, no?
    WHY NOT!?

So I put down the Red on my list for this year.
And interesting thing is that this concept (I would translate it as “being positive”)
can be applied to other things.
I just should’ve written down “being positive” on my list, then!?

    Nah.

Let’s keep it as is, the Red!

The first gig in this year: Blue Note Brunch on Sunday, January 27

This isn’t the resolution nor the color of Red.
My first leader gig in this year is scheduled on Sunday, January 27 at Blue Note.

It is almost 5 ~ 6 years ago when the last time I have performed at Blue Note.
Well, can’t even describe well how happy I am to be able to be back with my favorite people
as my (belated) celebration of my CD release and my (belated) birthday.

The flyer isn’t ready yet, but let me give you the detail:
